Axolotl memuco

The axolotl, an amazing little guy, they are able to grow limbs when cut off, the fact that they remain in a larvae state even in adulthood is fascinating, and well not to mention that it has Lungs and gills. those feathery things coming out it's neck. for this reason the Bio Med industry sought after them a while back, then the pet trade, now most that are sold are bred commercially. It's habitat is way, way way too polluted and that has been it's demise. but supposedly they are cleaning up the area and will reintroduce more there. lives in the Lakes of Mexico City. Xochimilco, and Chalco might be n toher areas but none have been found recently.
